Day 1 (Tuesday): Departure from USA

Depart for your overnight flight to the. Meals will be served on board.

Day 2 (Wednesday): Arrival Hotel Transfer

Arrive at Tel Aviv Airport meet your guide at the Airport, drive to your Hotel in Galilee for dinner, and Overnight in Tiberius. (D)

Day 3 (Thursday): Nazareth/ Cana/Mount Tabor

Start our visit to Mount Tabor to view the site of the Transfiguration. We continue to the church of Annunciation and Cana of Galilee. Then drive towards the Sea of Galilee, visit Mount of Beatitudes Onwards to the church of Multiplications of Fish & Loaves, Capernaum, Dinner, and Overnight in Tiberius. (B,L,D)

Day 4 (Friday): Golan Heights/ Sea of Galilee

After breakfast, we will start our day by taking a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee where we will have a private Holy Communion, a visit to St. Peter Primacy, a visit to Magdala, then drive to Golan Heights to visit Caesarea Philippi, Dinner and overnight in in Tiberius. (B,L,D)

Day 5 (Saturday): Meggido/ Caesarea

Depart Galilee area via the coastal plains, visit Meggido, then we drive to Stella Marris at Mount Carmel to visit the church of Prophet Elijah, after lunch we continue south to visit Caesarea Maritima, from there we continue our way to Jerusalem, in the way we visit Emmaus. Continue to Bethlehem through Jerusalem, Dinner, and overnight in Bethlehem. (B,L,D)

Day 6 (Sunday): Worship/Meet God’s Afflicted Children

Worship at Christmas Lutheran Church in Bethlehem. Afterward, we will visit Yad Vashem (Holocaust Museum). We will visit the Tent of Nations and the Walled-Off Hotel. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem. (B,L,D)

Day 7 (Monday): Dead Sea area

Full Day Tour in the Dead Sea area, River Jordan Baptismal Site, and visit Ein Gedi, Qumran and float in the Dead Sea, view the Good Samaritan Inn, St. George in the Judean Wilderness. Visit the old city of Jericho Elisha Spring & view Mount Temptation Monastery Dinner and Overnight in Bethlehem. (B,L,D)

Day 8 (Tuesday): Shepherd’s Field/ Bethlehem

Visit the shepherd’s field, the church of Nativity, the Chapel of Saith Catherine, the Lutheran School Beit Sahour, and the Old City of Bethlehem, Dinner and Overnight in Bethlehem. (B,L,D)

Day 9: (Wednesday) Mount of Olives/ Mount Zion

Start our day visiting Augusta Victoria and Lutheran World Federation on top of Mount of Olives, visit Pater Noster Church, Walk the Palm Sunday Path, the church of Gethsemane, and the Kedron Valley. Visit the last Supper room, Mount Zion, St Peter Gallicantu, and Shrine of the Book and Holy Land Model of Jerusalem at the time of Jesus. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem (B,L,D)

Day 10: (Thursday) Old city of Jerusalem

Visit the Wailing Wall, Temple Mount, Dome of the Rock & Al Aqsa Mosque, then visit the church of St. Anne & pool of Bethesda, Via Dolorosa, and Church of the Holy Sepulcher. We will enjoy some free time in Jerusalem. Dinner at a Tent restaurant and enjoy traditional Palestinian folklore music and dance, overnight in Bethlehem. (B,L,D)

Day 11 (Friday): Departure/Jordan Extension

After breakfast, those not continuing to Jordan will transfer to the airport for their flight home – arrive home the same day. Those taking to Jordan extension will cross the border to Jordan. Visit Mt. Nebo. Drive to Petra, overnight in Petra (B,L,D)

Day 12 (Saturday): Petra

Walking tour of Petra complex including a take-along lunch. For those not walking a golf cart ride down to the Treasury and back and a tour of Petra Museum including lunch. Both groups meet up in the afternoon and drive to Wadi Rum, overnight in Wadi Rum (B,L,D)

Day 13 (Sunday): Wadi Rum

Camel Ride through the desert, Worship in the desert with Moses and the Israelites, Jeep ride to film sites. Drive to Amman, overnight in Amman (B,L,D)

Day 14 (Monday): Departure

After breakfast transferred to the airport for our flight home. We will arrive home the same day. (B)
