Day 1: Monday, April 10th, 2023.                                           Departure from USA.

  • Depart for your overnight flight to the Holy.  Meals will be served on board.

Day 2: Tuesday, April 11th, 2023.                                          Arrival in Tel Aviv.

  • Arrive in Ben Gurion airport.
  • Meet your guide & driver, and transfer to Tiberias.
  • Visit Caesarea Maritima, Mount Carmel.
  • Dinner & overnight at your hotel in Tiberius.

Day 3: Wednesday, April 12th, 2023.                                     Sea of Galilee.

  • The Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha, St. Peter’s Primacy, Capernaum
  • Enjoy a meal of “St. Peter’s fish.
  • visit Magdala
  • Boat ride on the Sea of Galilee
  • River Jordan
  • Dinner & overnight at your hotel in Tiberius.

Day 4: Thursday, April 13th, 2023.                                          Nazareth, Cana

  • Visit Mar Elias Institution, and meet with Archbishop Elias Chacour.
  • Nazareth, Basilica of the Annunciation, Nazareth
  • Cana of Galilee.
  • Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Tiberias

Day 5: Friday, April 14th, 2023.                                  Nablus and Ramallah

  • Leave Galilee towards Burqeen and Nablus, visit Jacobs Well
  • Sebastia lunch and tour.
  • Mount Gerizim.
  • Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Bethlehem

Day 6:  Saturday, April 15th, 2023.                          Dead Sea & Jericho    

  • View Wadi Qelt view the Valley of Shadow of Death.
  • Visit Jericho, Zacchaeus tree old city and view mount of Temptation. Baptism site.
  • Lunch at Qumran overlooks the Qumran caves.
  • Floating in the Dead Sea.
  • Optional dinner with local Christian families.
  • Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Bethlehem.

Day 7: Sunday, April 16th, 2023.                              Bethlehem

  • Worship with local Lutheran congregations.
  • Shepherd’s Fields, Church of the Nativity, Milk Grotto.
  • Visit the Walled-Off hotel, walk by the Wall
  • Walk by Bethlehem Refugee Camp.
  • Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Bethlehem.

Day 8: Monday, April 17th, 2023.               Jerusalem

  • Visit Augusta Victoria hospital complex.
  • Panoramic view from the top of Mount of Olives.
  • Walk the Palm Sunday Path, The Garden of Gethsemane, and the Church of All Nations.
  • Mount Zion, Upper Room, St Peter Gallicantu.
  • Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Bethlehem.

Day 9: Tuesday, April 18th, 2023.               Jerusalem.

  • Visit Lutheran Church/School Beit Sahour
  • Walk to the Temple Mount, and view the Dome of the Rock and El-Aqsa Mosque.
  • Anne’s Church, the Pools of Bethesda. Walk the Via Dolorosa. Holy Sepulcher.
  • Free afternoon in Jerusalem.
  • Meet with the Lutheran Bishop Ibrahim Azar in Jerusalem.
  • Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Bethlehem.

Day 10:  Wednesday, April 19th, 2023.                                  Hebron

  • Visit Ibrahim Mosque, Tombs of the Patriarchs.
  • Meet with CPT (Christian Peace Makers).
  • Lunch in the old city of Hebron
  • Visit the Glass factory in Hebron.
  • Free time in Bethlehem.
  • Farewell dinner at an oriental restaurant.
  • Overnight at your hotel in Bethlehem.

Day 11: Thursday, April 20th, 2023.                                       Departure

  • After breakfast, we will transfer to the airport for our flight home. Or take the optional extension to Jordan.
